Prescription medications
We offer prescription medication that is properly approved and safe to use. These medications can be extremely useful for slowing down the ongoing thinning of the non-transplanted hair on your head. It’s important to note, however, that results with medications take time, and you should have realistic expectations.
They are often taken by men who are in the early stages of thinning on the top or the back of the head, as they have a better chance of seeing results. Whereas men who are already completely bald are less likely to benefit from medications as their follicles may not be salvageable.
Hair thickeners and concealers
We offer a range of cosmetic concealers that are suitable for both men and women. These products can be very helpful in concealing the appearance of baldness and thinning hair. We encourage you to come in for a consultation so that you can try out the products and find one that suits you.
Chinese herbs
Traditional Chinese herbs offer a natural hair regrowth alternative to prescription medications. Lotions
We offer a hair growth stimulant that is designed for the treatment and prevention of hair loss. The topical lotion can be used by both men and women and should be applied to the scalp twice a day.
Scalp roller
An alternative to our in-house laser therapy treatments, this surgical grade instrument has a roller head which is covered with tiny stainless-steel acupuncture needles. When rolled on to the scalp, it helps stimulate the dermal layer of the skin and promotes circulation to the hair follicles, and gently cleans away dead skin cells.
Laser therapy helmet
Laser Hair Therapy (LHT) is a painless and non-invasive approach in the cosmetic treatment of hair loss, thinning hair, and scalp problems. LHT has been tested for effectiveness and safety for over 30 years all around the world. We offer a clinical strength laser helmet available to purchase for home use. Men and women being treated for hair loss can wear the portable helmet at home while the laser gently delivers the phototherapy to the scalp. There is no pain or discomfort caused by the therapy, although some patients do report some scalp-tingling.
The visible red light from the helmet’s lasers travels several layers into the tissue without harming the skin and scalp. Patients who have used the therapy have said that their hair looks and feels thicker, fuller and healthier and they have noticed improved hair growth with the recommended two to three sessions per week.
Supplements program
Hair loss is not always a hereditary condition — a range of vitamin and mineral deficiencies in the body can also cause the issue. To help address a range of hair concerns, we offer two specialised supplements programs — one for men and one for women.
