Cocktail
Needling
The team at ICCM are excited to introduce a new treatment called Cocktail Needling. Sydney patients can access this skin booster treatment as part of our cosmetic surgery offerings which will help promote radiant and hydrated skin for a refreshed new look.
This anti-ageing treatment known as “cocktail needling” is named as such as it uses 59 different ingredients. These ingredients are all naturally occurring vitamins and minerals which the body can absorb well to nourish the skin.
What are the benefits of cocktail needling?
- Rehydrate the skin
- Reboots the fibroblasts that encourage skin renewal
- Reduces wrinkles
- Improves tone
- Improve radiance
How does cocktail needling achieve all of this?
This treatment improves the epidermal junction of your skin and reboots the fibroblasts. This will rehydrate your skin, improve pore size and result in better skin tone with fewer fine lines and wrinkles.
The treatment is commenced with a cleanse and light peel, followed with NCTF Boost which is infused with a dermal needling device and the whole treatment is then finished off with a soothing hyaluronic mask to hydrate the skin. For the best results, 3-6 treatments fortnightly are recommended - however, this may vary depending on your skin condition.

Frequently Asked Questions
The primary difference with cocktail needling, when compared with other anti-ageing treatments, is its poly-revitalizing complex. This works to nourish the epidermis with natural ingredients that will help it excel. Cocktail needling rehydrates the skin to improve tone and radiance and is further enhanced by the use of micro-needling to infuse the NCTF Boost.
It is also unique in that it involves a light peel that contains gluconolactone to improve any dullness, fine lines or wrinkles.
If you are considering an anti-ageing treatment that will provide fast results, give your skin a greater glow and a firm look, then this treatment will be well-suited to you. As with other therapies, it encourages collagen and elastin production which all patients can benefit from.
This treatment is not appropriate for anyone with open wounds, active acne or specific skin conditions. We will assess all of this during your consultation to ensure it is right for you.
Treatments usually take around 1 hour 45 minutes. For the best results, we recommend 3-6 treatments depending on the quality of your skin. Those with older skin will require more sessions.
You will likely be surprised by how comfortable the cocktail needling treatment is. At most, it may feel a bit prickly as it involves skin penetration.
One of the primary benefits of this treatment, along with minimal downtime, is the fast results. You will see an instant glow that will improve over the four weeks after your final session.
As there is no required downtime, you can resume your day after treatment. For optimal results, we recommend that you avoid any skincare products with active ingredients and keep clear of the intense sun or direct heat for 24 hours post-treatment. Skin that is well maintained will see significant benefits from cocktail needling with results that are long-lasting.
