Cosmetic Microblading Tattoo & Micropigmentation
The top choice for Sydney eyebrow feathering
Feather Touch cosmetic tattooing and Scalp Micropigmentation is an exciting treatment for use on the eyebrows and scalp area and is suitable for both men and women. Unlike the harsh block tattooing of the past, Feather Touch Tattoo looks completely natural because it mimics the real brown hair and can be individually customised.
Do you want fuller looking eyebrows without having to pencil in everyday? Do you have uneven or thin/short eyebrows? Eyebrow feathering is the art of creating perfectly shaped natural looking brows using a micro-pigmenting technique where fine hair strokes are sculptured into your existing brows. This treatment can transform sparse eyebrows into perfectly shaped natural looking brows to frame the face.
Depending on your needs, brows can be subtly coloured or completely remodelled as each new strand is intricately etched and coloured by hand. This creates the background and fills in the parts of the eyebrows that looked empty so that a full and complete look is accomplished.
Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) can recreate the look of short or shaved hairsby strategically placing colour matched pigments on to the scalp. This technique provides men and women suffering from hair loss with an illusion of fullness or the appearance of thicker hair. This technique can be performed on short or long hair and can assist in redefining your hairline and even mask the signs of Alopecia Areata. We can also successfully camouflage an old or pre-existing hair transplant scar.
Feather Touch cosmetic tattooing is a semi-permanent technique using colour pigment drawn onto the skin. A metal hand tool with fine needles is used to create fine hair-like strokes to either create a beautifully designed brow or disguise the look of thinning hair on the scalp. A hypo-allergenic pigment is implanted into the skin and will generally last up to 2 years (results will vary depending on the client’s exposure to sun and resistance to pigment). Anaesthetic is continually applied to decrease any pain or discomfort during the procedure. Depending on the depth of colour requested, most people are comfortable in public within 2-5 days.
Yes and no. Yes – it can be considered as a form of tattoo, however, the pigments are distilled water based (opposed to the common oil carrier based pigments in conventional tattoos) thus resulting to a semi-permanent lasting result.
The work involved with eyebrow feathering is only performed on the skin surface – thus, making eyebrow feathering a MUCH SAFER treatment than traditional eyebrow tattoos. The colour can also be adjusted in alignment with the original eyebrow hair colour, which results in a realistic look and feel. Eyebrow embroidery creates the background and fills in the parts of the eyebrows that looked empty so that a full and complete look is accomplished. The “3D” effect gives it an added realism to the end result.
Unlike an eyebrow tattoo, eyebrow embroidery does not leave a flat, dull and fake look that tattoos leave behind, nor is it permanent, so you are free to modify the shape of your brows, according to the latest trends.
Lip liner tattoos and eyeliner tattoos are also available and are gaining in popularity amongst our clients. Colour can be placed on the top and/or bottom eyelid, and as a lip liner – this provides a very natural look to really enhance facial features. Permanent makeup can create the illusion of larger eyes and create more plump looking lips, and is tailored to your specific requirements. We can create a light and completely natural look to more dramatic if preferred.
Semi-permanent gives you the flexibility to change, down the track. Permanent tattoos don’t. In fact, permanent tattoos tend to fade to a dull blue shade that is difficult to get rid of. Thus, going semi-permanent offers you the option of continuing with your current shape and/or colour (by simply doing a “top-up” treatment) or completely re-shape your eyebrows or hairline.
The initial consultation may take between 15–20 minutes. After consent is obtained, the procedure itself takes approximately 75 minutes up to 2 hours depending on the shape that you require. A follow-up appointment would not normally be required.
Treatments will last up to 2 years, with retouches recommended every 12-18 months. All initial tattooing includes one complimentary retouch within 6 to 8 weeks of the first application.
